The Biggles Big Band from Holland, which already performed very successfully last year at the Ravindra Hotel & Resort, came again this year to play their hearts out for all Jazz fans in our fun-city, who turned up in big numbers on Friday, Oct. 15.
The weather God this year was a in bit of a better mood and the short and light rain showers didn’t interrupt the music.
Conductor Adrie Braat wore a big smile on stage and all could see the fun he and his band members had all evening.
Singer Arnold Auee, reminded everyone a bit of Frank Sinatra in both, looks and performance and a special surprise was the performance of Pattaya resident Bert de Kort, a former teacher of Adrie Braat, whom he had met again in Pattaya by accident.
The audience, many of them from Holland, gave the band a standing ovation at the end after almost dancing their shoes off!
