Hard Rock Hotel & Cafe Pattaya will host a concert by the famed Carabao band on Friday, June 28 from 8.30 p.m. onwards.
Carabao, a rock legend of Thailand, was formed in 1976 and has gone on to become possibly the most popular and widely heard band in the kingdom for the past 37 years. They have sometimes been called the ‘Rolling Stones of Asia’. Their music repertoire includes blended folk, western rock and country and various kinds of world music.
Current Carabao band members include Yuenyong Opakul (Aed) – lead vocals & guitarist, Preecha Chanapai (Lek)and Thierry Mekwattana – lead vocals & guitarist, Anupong Prathompatama (Ot) – bass guitarist, Luechai Ngamsom (Duk) – keyboard, Khajornsak Hutawatana (Mee) – guitarist, and Thanasit Phanphongthai (Uan) & Chuchat Nuduang (Ko) – drums.

Entrance tickets are available at THB 1,600 net per person inclusive of free flow of beer, whisky and soft drinks.
