The Luminasion band had good reason to celebrate earlier this month after being voted the winner of this year’s Ambassadors of Rock Battle of the Bands 2011 competition held at the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya on Friday, March 11.
Seven bands were selected to attend the finals, with some fabulous talent on show that was much appreciated by all rock attendees. The winning band was presented with 50,000 THB in cash by Hard Rock Manager Matthew Carley, a trophy from the Mayor of Pattaya City, musical instruments from sponsors valued at 180,000 THB, and more than 10,000 THB in souvenirs from Hard Rock Hotel.

The first prize also included a ticket to be Thailand’s representatives at the Hard Rock Calling 2011 event to be held in London later this year which will also feature a guest performance from legendary US rock band Bon Jovi. Well done Luminasion!
