There’s “a new jazz in town” at the dusitD2 baraquda, with the hotel’s Deep bar cooled even further this month as two local jazz greats strut their stuff.
Saxophonist Aht Gunlayanakupt, a.k.a. the Kenny G. of Thailand, who finished second on the “Thailand’s Got Talent” television show in 2011, shares the spotlight with Jonathan Piere Bruno Ayark, a 20-year French singer and guitarist.
The June concerts in the marine-themed bar follow a successful run last summer in the dusitD2’s rooftop lounge.
This year’s Jazz season at Deep bar kicked off on May 31 and was well attended by a host of Pattaya socialites and music lovers who came to enjoy the performance of two outstanding artists in a perfectly chilled out setting.
Performances of “a new jazz in town” are held at Deep bar every Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 8:30-11 p.m.
