Hotel and spa professionals will compete for awards in 20 different categories at the Pattaya Hospitality Challenge Aug. 9-10 at the Dusit Thani Hotel.
Thai Hotels Association Eastern Region President Sanphet Suphabuansathien put the final touches on planning for the annual event July 21 at the Way By Garden Seaview Resort.
The competition aims to find the most skilled and talented service providers in the eastern hotel industry. Each participating hotel will send contestants from four different positions to compete in more than 20 categories.
Among those contests are fruit carving, baking cakes and decorations, tapas, ice carving, food seasoning, signature dishes, table preparation, massage and spa, and bartender.
The event also will feature a concert from Ae Jirakorn. Admission is free to the public.
