Superstar Thai rock band Klear headlined a special celebration to mark the 10th anniversary of the Hard Rock Hotel Pattaya on Saturday, October 15.
Hundreds of fans gathered at the hotel to witness General Manager George Carlos Smith, along with members of the staff and public, cut a giant cake to set the ball rolling on what would turn out to be a marvelously fun-packed and memorable evening.

Revelers got into the mood by joining in the huge foam party as top music hits blasted out of the poolside speakers and guests were able to take advantage of the hotel’s special promotion which tagged food and drinks prices at 2001 levels, the year when the resort first opened in Pattaya.
The giant foam party was great fun for all.
The highlight of the evening was an informal concert performed by renowned rock band Klear who are fast gaining a reputation as one of Thailand’s top popular music acts. Formed in 2002 for a university rock competition the five piece band has released a string of chart toppers and rose to international acclaim when their song “Rak Mai Dtong Gaan Way-Laa” off their “Brighter Day” album was featured in last year’s hit movie “Hello Stranger”.
The audience certainly got in the mood as band went through their medley of hits and later the star musicians mingled with the guests as the party rocked on into the evening.
Now with a worldwide reputation for combining great hospitality with music entertainment and memorabilia, the very first Hard Rock Cafe was opened in London, England, on 14th June, 1971 by Americans Peter Morton and Isaac Tigrett and swiftly gained instant success through its unique concept of serving delicious American food alongside great rock ‘n’ roll music and the personal interaction of its employees. Since then, Hard Rock Café has expanded to 150 branches in 53 countries all over the world with the first Hard Rock Hotel being opened in Las Vegas in 1995.
