Year 13 art students at St. Andrews International School, Green Valley opened the 2015 IB Art Exhibition on March 26 and a fabulous range of artwork was enjoyed by those who attended.
Amita Aksonngoen’s digital and installation pieces impressed with their fragile beauty while hinting at the darker side of human nature and Kelly Harkins display showed a clear nod to the work of Tracey Emin in her exploration of fame and the cult of celebrity through two dimensional work and film. Meanwhile, Alena Klevakina’s digital and installation pieces showed technical excellence while commenting on issues such as violence and the complexities of modern feminism.
Congratulations to three unique artists.
Alena Klevakina.
