TFi are back with another exciting musical night scheduled for Friday, August 8 and running under the theme ‘Back to the 80’s’.

This event will mark TFi’s (Thai Farang Initiative’s) first anniversary and due to overwhelming public demand it will be another 80’s themed music night, similar to the one staged a year ago.

The venue will be the Access Inn on Pattaya 3rd Road, a perfect setting for this type of event with plenty of space, a superb sound system and funky lighting.

Dave D, the popular TV and radio presenter, will be the DeeJay for the evening and the TFi team promises that they have a few surprises in store to go along with the free flow of beer, red & white wine and soft drinks.

The sponsors for the evening are Universal Group, CEA Project Logistics, The Booze Lounge, Defense International Security Services, Mobile Advertising, Voova, Hometown Property Pattaya and Siam Winery.

The ethos of TFi is to create fun events for charity and in the last 12 months they have staged 3 music themed evenings as well as two free of charge children’s parties at Jameson’s the Irish Pub.

In addition to sponsors’ contributions and income from the events, they have also received various anonymous donations and funds raised from a trek to the base of Mount Everest by Shaun Houlding.  This has enabled them to pay for surgery to correct the cleft lips of three children through Operation Smile, provide water filtration systems to poor families with the help of Rotary Club of the Eastern Seaboard, and also aid other impoverished residents and families of Pattaya.

Along with the above, TFi also made a joint venture with the Pattaya Sports Club and Jesters Care for Kids to provide sports equipment for the kids at the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Abuse Center.

Other recent projects included assisting a flood damaged orphanage in Mae Sot, contributing to the funding of a swimming pool for a school in Chantaburi and taking 40 kids from the Anti Human Trafficking and Child Abuse Center for a day out at Khao Kheow Open Zoo.

TFi are a group of local guys who give up their free time and are dedicated to helping those who need it.  All event income and expenditure is listed on their Facebook Page and website to ensure maximum transparency.

Back to the 80’s will start at 7 p.m. and run through until 10 p.m., with drinks promotions after 10 p.m.  Entrance is 400 baht in advance or 500 baht on the door and tickets are available through the team who can be contacted via their popular Facebook Page: www.facebook.com/funcharityevents or via the website: www.TFI-events.com.
