General Motors Co. China said they and their joint venture partners have reached a new annual sales record in China having sold 2.59 million vehicles in China through the first 11 months of the year. Last year, the company sold nearly 2.55 million vehicles in 12 months.
Looking at Year-On-Year statistics, the output/sales are up 10.4 percent through the first 11 months of 2012 compared to the same period in 2011.
Shanghai GM recorded an all-time monthly sales record of 136,444 vehicles last month, up 20.6 percent Year-On-Year.
GM said their Buick and Chevrolet brands hit November sales records, Cadillac hit an all-time monthly sales mark and Baojun brand sales soared 70 percent to hit a near monthly record.
