Last week I mentioned that Rolls-Royce changed the color of the R-R insignia and I asked “why”.  It was not because of the death of Henry Royce, but Royce himself felt that black was more appropriate for their cars.  And this is the appropriate place for one of my favorite jokes: Aristotle Onassis and Stavros Niarchos have lunch together in New York.  Afterwards they pass a Rolls-Royce showroom and buy a Corniche each.  Niarchos goes forward to pick up the bill.  “No, no, no, Stavros,” says Onassis, “Let me get these – you paid for lunch.”

So to this week.  Which horseless carriage added a horse’s head to stop it frightening horses?
