Last week I asked what is the commonality between a Roadpacer and a Parkway? Both were made by Mazda in Japan, but the amazing thing was both were given Mazda Rotaries. The Roadpacer body was a Holden made in Australia (as all Holdens used to be) and the Parkway was an all-Japan design which was not a success with only 44 built.

So to this week. Not too many people have won international motoring events driving a car they designed and built themselves, selling copies of his car, carrying his name. Jack Brabham won the World’s Driving Championship in one of his own cars, but who was this guy?
