One of the more professional series locally is the Grand Prix International Pro Racing Series. Well managed, with events that run to time and a very professional attitude to scrutineering of the cars and the drivers’ apparel. Even to verifying the date stamp on the driver’s helmets. The cars also have a higher standard in preparation.
We will be there with the BBX/Acorn Pub Mk1 Ford Escort which races in the Retro Series and which scored two 4th outrights last meeting, so is definitely amongst the top runners, despite its age (40 years old this year) and the age of the Retro driver (slightly more than 40).
