A “leaning tower of power” is giving Soi Buakhao residents a jolt of fear.
The utility pole, located near a busy intersection, is listing at an ever-increasing angle. Residents worry the 10-meter-tall pole will topple, damaging whatever or whoever lies beneath, as well as cause a blackout for blocks around.
City bureaucrats promising to fix such problems seem to have missed this obvious danger.
