Beach vendors near Jomtien Beach’s Dongtan Curve say city trash collectors need to solve persistent problems with three trash dumpsters behind the bus stop there.
The garbage cans, beach umbrella operators say, constantly are full, stinking up the area. Rain makes matters worse, as smelly water leaks out and runs down the road and sidewalk.
Vendors aren’t the only ones complaining: Tourists can be seen holding their noses and making faces as they walk around the curve.
Residents and visitors want the Sanitation Department to clean up the area.
