The speedboats are gone, but now its tour buses that are annoying South Pattaya residents near Bali Hai Pier.
Neighbors called the media Feb. 17 to complain about 10 buses parked in a line from the entrance of Bali Hai to the Sophon Market intersection. Many were parked in prohibited areas.
Residents said the buses take up a lane of traffic exacerbating congestion in the area.
They said the military had put in a lot of effort to remove speedboats illegally parked there only for tour buses to take their place. They insisted the army make good on its promise to return public areas to the public.
