BANGKOK, 24 June 2015, A meeting on developing tourism and sports in the era of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) has been held in Bangkok.
The event was held at Mandarin Hotel by the Foundation for International Human Resource Development (FIHRD) and Suan Sunandha Rajabhat University. Deputy Permanent Secretary of Tourism and Sports Kajorn Weerajai and FIHRD Secretary-General Jira Hongladarom presided over the forum.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the public, private, and education sectors related to tourism and sports affairs.
The program was expected to demonstrate to participants the direction the nation is taking regarding tourism and sports development for the approaching AEC. Meeting results will be used as guidelines to improve the sector in the long run.
