BANGKOK, 23 April 2014 – The Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) is set to host a fair at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani to promote locally-made products from Bangkok’s 50 districts.
Speaking at a press conference, Deputy Governor for BMA Pusadee Tamthai announced that the fair would be held between April 30th and May 4th, during which locally-made products from the 50 districts of Bangkok would be offered to members of the public.
According to her, the fair will promote local wisdom and help the Thai entrepreneurs enhance their competitiveness, bringing it on par with their rivals’ in the international stage, adding that such event could also give a boost to the country’s economy.
A wide range of reasonably priced local products will be on offer to visitors, who will also have a chance to learn more about traditional Thai massages as well as enjoying other recreation activities.
