As the ASEAN Community (AC) takes effect at end of 2015, the Commerce Ministry’s Business Development Department will upgrade its customer service standards for businessmen to international level from Jan. 5, said the Department Director General Pongpun Gearaviriyapun.
The Ministry of Commerce’s Single Point Service programme will be offered at the Business Development Department headquarters starting from January 5, said Pongpun.
Under the program outlined in a government policy aiming to see qualitative and transparent services, applicants could receive services in every field and simultaneously see their expenses reduced, she said.
Three units under the ministry including the Intellectual Property, Foreign Trade and the Business Development departments are prepared to offer services including company registration, and applying for import and export licenses at the Business Development Department only, Pongpun added.
