BANGKOK, Jan 2 — As the ASEAN Community (AC) takes effect at end of 2015, the Commerce Ministry’s Business Development Department will upgrade its customer service standards for businessmen to international level from next Monday, said the Department Director General Pongpun Gearaviriyapun.
The Ministry of Commerce’s Single Point Service programme will be offered at the Business Development Department headquarters starting from January 5, said Ms Pongpun.
Under the programme outlined in a government policy aiming to see qualitative and transparent services, applicants could receive services in every field and simultaneously see their expenses reduced, she said.
Three units under the ministry including the Intellectual Property, Foreign Trade and the Business Development departments are prepared to together offer services including company registration, and applying for import and export licences at the Business Development Department only, Ms Pongpun added.
