PATTAYA, Thailand – The atmosphere at Bali Hai Pier in Pattaya was bustling as the New Year festivities came to an end, January 6. Tourists who had traveled to Koh Larn for relaxation during the holiday season were steadily making their way back.

According to officials from the Pattaya branch of the Marine Department, the past 2-3 days saw a lively flow of both Thai and international tourists crossing to Koh Larn, although the numbers were slightly lower than last year. Most visitors were Thai and Russian, with fewer travelers from other nationalities.

Officials emphasized that strict safety measures remained in place. Passenger boats adhered to capacity limits, and every tourist was required to wear a life jacket.

Ms. Amorn Sawangjaeng, a Thai tourist, shared her experience, saying it was her first time visiting Koh Larn. She praised the lively atmosphere and the island’s natural beauty. Ms. Amorn also noted the ongoing development projects on Koh Larn and expressed her belief that the island would continue to grow as a premier tourist destination.

“In the future, I think Koh Larn will become a perfect getaway for long holidays with family,” she added enthusiastically.
