Pattaya’s mayor touted the city’s investment opportunities to a group of Chinese property developers.
Mayor Anan Charoenchasri spoke to executives from Wan Tong Chu Jia July 8 at the Zign Hotel.
He told directors Fueng Lun and Wang Ying that Pattaya is not only a top tourism destination for the Chinese, but increasingly a spot for mainlanders to park their money by purchasing condominiums and commercial buildings.
He said Pattaya attracts both tourists and investors interested in health tourism, hospitals, elderly care, vehicle manufacturing, electronics, food and beverage innovation, biotechnology, automated systems and robots, convenient air links, digital industries and petrochemicals.
Anan said Pattaya also offers an affordable cost of living, popular attractions and a vibrant culture.
