PATTAYA, 11 June 2012 Chonburi provincial authority is seeking a total budget of 100 million baht for development and tourism projects, during an upcoming mobile cabinet meeting in the province.
The mobile cabinet meeting is scheduled for June 18-19 at the Royal Cliff Beach Hotel in Pattaya, Chonburi province, with Culture minister Sukumol Khunpleum slated to host.
According to Chonburi governor Komsan Ekkachai, the province’s administration office will propose to the cabinet a budget of over 100 million baht for 8 infrastructure development projects, which include the dredging of reservoirs, constructions of reinforced concrete roads and sports centers, as well as a piping expansion.
Phalang Chon party chief Chao Maneewong said that the party is planning to put forward development projects which will support the province’s growing tourism sector. The projects will be presented to the cabinet, with an emphasis on the province’s logistics issue.
