BANGKOK, 24 January 2014 Department stores across Bangkok have announced their new opening hours in response to the ongoing shutdown and the enforcement of the emergency decree.
Central Pattana has made known that from Friday onwards, Central World Department store will open from 10am to 7pm on Monday-Thursday and 10am to 8pm on Fridays and weekends.
Central Chidlom’s new operating hours are from 10am to 10pm, Central Ladprao from 10am to 9pm, Silom Complex from 10.30am to 9.30pm and Central Chaeng Wattana from 11am to 9.30pm. Other branches will open on normal hours.
Siam Paragon shopping complex, Siam Center and Siam Discovery will, meanwhile, open from 10 am to 8 pm during January 24-26.
All stores will assess the situation closely and will later announce new measures in light of rising political turmoil.
