BANGKOK, 26 April 2013 The fuel adjustment tariff (FT) charge is to be lowered by 5.12 Satang/unit from May to August thanks to the Baht’s appreciation.
The Energy Regulatory Committee has approved a decrease in the FT rate to 46.08 Satang/unit, down from the 52.04 Satang/unit presently charged.
Therefore the consumers will pay 3.74 Baht/unit for electricity for the next 4 months. The move is the first Ft charge cut since May 2011.
