Huge Turnout at 4th OTOP Silpachip Fair

NONTHABURI, 10 August 2015, A large number of event-goers visited the 4th OTOP Silpachip Fair, held by by the Department of Community Development to honor the works of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit.

The fair is aimed at promoting local wisdom and locally sourced goods from across the Kingdom. It hosts an exhibition on the Queen’s contributions to preserve traditional craftsmanship, while showcasing demonstrations of their manufacturing. These items include pottery and Khon masks from the Central Plains, silks from the North and Northeast, and brown rice from the South.

The fair also offers goods from the Chitralada Shop, Silpachip Center, and local OTOP products, such as traditional apparel, handcrafted ornaments, and food from all corners of the nation. Event-goers can visit more than 2,000 vendors in the fair from now until August 16th at Challenger Hall 1-3 of Impact Arena, Muang Thong Thani from 10 AM to 9 PM.
