BANGKOK, 29 April 2012 – The IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center has demonstrated its readiness to host the upcoming Rotary International Convention 2012 while stating its determination to become the MICE center of the Asian region.
IMPACT Exhibition Management Co., Ltd. Managing Director Paul Kanchanapas has announced that IMPACT Arena, Exhibition and Convention Center is ready to welcome over 35,000 Rotarians from 160 countries across the globe who will be participating at the Rotary International Convention 2012 during May 6-9. The meeting is expected to reassure the foreign community that Thailand is prepared to become the MICE center of the Asian continent.
Paul Kanchanapas added that IMPACT Arena Muang Thong Thani possesses a variety of venue sizes to meet all types of conferences and exhibitions. Furthermore, it can accommodate up to 40,000-50,000 attendees. Thus, he is certain that IMPACT Muang Thong Thani is the most appropriate venue for the Rotary International Convention. As this is the first time that Thailand hosts the Rotary International Convention, the company has carried out maintenance of buildings and facilities, as well as enhanced its services and raised its security measures to be on par with the MICE Security Management System (MSMS).
Meanwhile, IMPACT Arena Muang Thong Thani has been modified to portray the authentic Thai identity while the landscape has been adorned with colorful flowers. Additionally, the arena has collaborated with Nonthaburi provincial authorities in charge of security to prevent any violence or danger from occurring and to protect the participants of the convention and their possessions.
