The Ministry of Industry is preparing to issue measures to help its agencies support local enterprises more efficiently.
During a seminar on implementing the Thailand 4.0 Industrial Policy, Industry Minister Uttama Savanayana disclosed that organizations under the ministry’s care would be given more power to promote local businesses, including community enterprises and SMEs. Improving their digital marketing skills will be one of the urgent tasks.
The ministry will cooperate with industrial estates in facilitating investment projects in the country and overseas, particularly the Eastern Economic Corridor, while developing the wellbeing of the surrounding communities. Provincial industry offices will have their roles adjusted so that they can carry out their objectives and cooperate with the private sector more smoothly.
The Ministry of Industry expects to announce its new measures within a week.
