BANGKOK, June 3 — Thailand’s Department of Employment and Fortune Town shopping mall will jointly conduct the “E-Job Expo 2014@Fortune Town,” an event to offer employment opportunities with more than 10,000 positions in some 80 leading firms later this month.
Deputy Director of Employment Thanit Numnoi said the event is scheduled to be held June 13-14, from 10am to 4pm at the multipurpose hall on the 3rd floor of Fortune Tower shopping mall.
Job applications at the fair would be processed with an ICT system, where applicants could apply beforehand through the e-jobexpo.com website from May 10 through June 10.
On top of that, applicants would be able to post their resumes online, a method that would help to facilitate the job candidates and employers in the interview process.
More than 80 leading companies in Thailand will offer some 10,000 positions at the job fair; participating organisations include the Crown Property Bureau, subsidiaries of the Charoen Pokphand Food, Thai Red Cross, Siam Cement (SCG), Bangchak Green Net Co., Ltd., Bangkok Metro (MRT), as well as Loxley.
Career counseling and interesting job exhibition would also be set up to provide job seekers with clear cut information on opportunities on future careers.
