BANGKOK, 1 April 2014 The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Mrs Srirath Ratthapana, has announced that the Ministry is holding the “2nd Mekong Export Festival” between 3-8 April 2014 in Nong Khai Province. Cash flow of thirty million Baht is expected in the area during the festival.
The festival will exhibit and distribute products from Thailand to its neighbors, in order to prepare for the AEC in 2015.
There will be more than 400 booths in the festival, divided into OTOP products and products from SMEs in 77 provinces. Furthermore, the festival will conduct a “Business Matching” program between Thailand’s North-Eastern entrepreneurs and Lao entrepreneurs.
