BANGKOK 21 April 2014 — The Deputy Minister of Industry has revealed that help will readily be provided to those SMEs in need — adding that the 2015 budget disbursement will proceed as planned.
Witoon Simachok, Deputy Minister of Industry, revealed after the 28th Thailand QC Exhibition that measures have been taken to provide the necessary assistance needed in aiding SMEs during this time of economic slowdown.
Training sessions and workshops on how to cut operational costs and add quality to products are being offered to local entrepreneurs and SMEs in order to alleviate the effects of the market slowdown and provide a networking opportunity and more competitiveness for local business owners before the opening of the 2015 ASEAN Economic Community (AEC).
In regard to the disbursement of the 2015 budget, Mr. Witoon said that, despite minor hiccups, all is still going as planned — stating that the budget can still be allocated to all the approved projects.
