The Centara Grand Mirage Beach Resort hosted its monthly “Mirage Market” to introduce guests to locally made products and help Pattaya-area residents earn more money.
Room Manager Yari Nelsen kicked off the July 15 retail event at the Wong Amat resort, which runs the project as part of its corporate goodwill program.
The market was organized by the Nongprue Social Welfare Division and the Center for Social Welfare Development of Banglamung. The groups collected a variety of products made locally and brought them to the Mirage Market to showcase and sell at reasonable prices.
The motive was to promote local products and generate income for local residents, specifically the elderly. All the proceeds from the sale went to the makers.
The market featured 25 booths offering herbal beverages, traditional snacks, fruit, bakery items, processed herbal products including cosmetics and moisturizers, handicrafts, and more.
The Mirage Market is held on the 15th of each month.
