BANGKOK, 5 June 2014 The National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) has convened a meeting to discuss upcoming projects.
Chairing the conference was the NCPO chief Gen Prayuth Chan-ocha who placed great emphasis on projects that would be beneficial to the country as a whole. He has ordered all responsible agencies to thoroughly study these projects. They include the restructuring of energy and tax systems as well as new approaches to boosting growth in the country’s agricultural industry.
Attending the conference were representatives of agencies overseeing national security, economic affairs, and social affairs.
The meeting also agreed to peg prices of some consumer items in a bid to ease the impact of the high cost of living.
