Bangkok, 11 June 2013 The stocks of Nok Air Public Company Limited went up 12 points on Monday after it has announced Initial Public Offering (IPO) at 26 baht per share which will be sold on June 12 – 14.
The company’s CEO, Patee Sarasin, revealed that there will be 187.5 million shares available for the IPO. According to a survey from Book Building Institution, buyers have shown interests to purchase the shares at the maximum value of 28 baht each, adding that the survey also predicted the public’s demand for the company’s stock would be 5 times of that the company is planning to offer.
Mr. Patee however said that, the company decided to sell its shares at 26 baht per share mainly due to the stock market’s fluctuation and to ensure benefits for all of its investors.
Nonetheless, Nok Air’s CEO estimated that the company should be listed in the Stock Exchange of Thailand on June 20.
