Central Festival Pattaya Beach celebrated eight years in Pattaya with prize giveaways, a concert and fashion show.
The beachfront mall, which actually opened in December 2009, officially considers Aug. 8 its anniversary and each year throws a big party to thank its customers.
Manager Sompong Juimuang and Kwanchanok Setthawong, marketing manager of Central Department Store Co., handed out 150,000 baht in prizes, including round-trip airfare to Hong Kong on Air Asia.
Processional models and local community leaders dressed up for a fashion show and small children sang and danced in the Central Songkran Kids Contest, despite Songkran being in April.
Shoppers were entertained by a concert from Boy Pitsanu.
