BANGKOK, 16 July 2014 – The Seismological Bureau of Thailand, has advised news agencies that at 11.40am, Wednesday 16th July, a 3.4 magnitude earthquake struck Chiang Rai’s Pan District (19.71 N, 99.71E) at a depth of 2 km. People residing near the epicenter felt the tremor. At present, no injures or damage have been reported.
