BANGKOK, 17 January 2014 Several shopping centers around Ratchaprasong Intersection and areas close to mass rallies have adjusted their operating times to provide greater convenience for customers as well as their staff during this period. Other shopping centers outside rally sites are to maintain its usual operating hours.
Central Pattana (CPN) senior public relation manager, Sakorn Taweesin, said that Central World Shopping Center will operate from 10 am to 8 pm today, while Central Department Stores, both Chidlom and Lad Prao branches will operate from 10.30 am to 9 pm. Silom Complex branch opened at 10.30 am today and will close at 9.30 pm. Chaengwattana branch opened at 11 am and will close at 10 pm. All other branches will maintain its normal operating time.
Siam Piwat Co. Ltd., operator of Siam Paragon, Siam Center, and Siam Discovery shopping centers announced that from January 17-19, their operation hours will be 10 am to 8 pm.
The Platinum Fashion Mall in Pratunam area announced that on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday its operating hours will be from 9 am to 8 pm, while on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday it will open for business at 8 am and close at 8 pm.
Union Mall shopping center in Lad Prao area will open at 11 am and close at 9 pm.
Operating hours for these shopping centers may change depending on overall situation with safety measures in place.
