SURIN, 27 June 2014 — The northeastern province of Surin has opened a center to service Cambodian workers who want to return to work in Thailand.
Deputy governor Yuthana Viriyakitti has unveiled that the one stop service center for issuing temporary documents for Cambodians is located at the Chong Chom permanent checkpoint in Karb Choeng district.
A large number of officials are manned at the center to operate the registration system for those who want to seek jobs in Thailand. Cambodians issued with the document will be allowed to enter and stay in Thailand for 60 days before getting a job and registered as migrant workers by their employers. The center will be opened until the 25th of July.
