BANGKOK, 31 May 2013 Suvarnabhumi Airport is organizing a job fair, which is the first of its kind, from today until tomorrow to help businesses around the airport find suitable employees to fill their job vacancies.
Director of Special Affairs of Suvanabhumi Airport Mrs. Monrudee Ketphan said the airport has invited its partner companies, including food and beverage, IT, security and cleaning companies which are seeking new employees, to participate in the job fair at the bus terminal.
The fair is held in the bus terminal compound, where 300 jobs are available to potential candidates. However, the only requirement for applicants is that they must be the residents of Samut Prakan and Lat Krabang district of Bangkok only.
The job fair is part of Airports of Thailand (AoT)’s effort to promote the aviation services and develop communities surrounding Suvarnabhumi Airport. AoT has so far held many community service activities to promote the local tradition, education, religion and sports.
Mrs. Monrudee said that she hopes the job fair will help better the living condition of people in the nearby communities and set a career path for many who are seeking employments.
