Thai stock index rises 9.60 points, 0.63%

BANGKOK, 5 August 2014 – The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) Index today closed positive, at 1,528.98. Thailand’s SET Index rose 9.60 points, or 0.63%, on turnover of 47.261 billion baht. Most sectors saw rises, with the Construction Materials Sector making the biggest gain by number of points, rising 206.95, or 1.86%, to 11,347.15. The Bluechip SET 50 Index closed at 1,025.51, a rise of 6.06 points or 0.59%, accounting for 25.721 billion baht. The MAI Index also closed positive at 594.16, jumping 15.63 points, or 2.70%, and accounting for 4.058 billion baht.
