BANGKOK, 26th July 2013 MCOT PCL., along with media business allies is displaying leadership abilities in the field of broadcasting content and technology, through its Thailand Broadcasting Exhibition 2013 or THAIBEX, held under the theme Go Go Digital: Gearing up for ASEAN Digitization.
Entering the digital era is considered a leaping step for the Thai television industry. MCOT wanted to showcase all processes of modern broadcasting technology as well as allow the audience to experience the newly introduced MCOT application. The application enables users to watch TV show reruns or live shows at anytime on their smart phones, and to record or send an alert when favorite shows are running, as well as to update information and the latest news on a real time system.
The academic seminar began on Thursday at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center, with Thai and foreign gurus invited to speak and educate listeners. Digital television exhibitions showcasing the latest innovations from producers are also be displayed. THAIBEX 2013 will be held until the 28th July 2013.
