Nakhon Ratchasima, 7th May 2013 Minister of Transport Mr.Chatchart Sithipan presided over the opening ceremony the 2020 Thailand Exhibition, in which the atmosphere was bustling given the number of people attending the event.
The exhibition, held at Rajamangala University of Technology Isan, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, is considered a success with a large number of people from both the government and the private sectors, as well as the mass media in attendance.
The purpose of the event was to inform the public of the government’s transportation and infrastructure investment plans between the years 2013-2020; for example, logistics projects in the North East Thailand region, the 615-km Bangkok – Nakhon Ratchasima – Nong Khai high speed trains, twin rail, and motor way expansion projects.
In informing and raising awareness of these projects, the people were urged to help monitoring and pushing through the important plans.
