VLADIVOSTOK, 9 September 2012  – Thailand has assured APEC leaders of its readiness to be a reliable source of food supply for the world while offering to host the international gathering again in 2022.

At the 20th Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Summit in Russia, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra attended a meeting on food security, which is one of the main focuses of this year’s meeting.

After the meeting and a group photo session, all attending APEC leaders sat down for lunch together for the last time.

The Premier and the Thai delegation, at 4 pm local time, left Russia for Thailand, from Knevichi International Airport, Vladivstok, on a Thai Airways flight, which is scheduled to land at Suvarnabhumi Airport at approximately 7.50 pm Thai time.
