Thailand organizes World Spa and Well-Being Convention

BANGKOK , 19 September 2014  – The Thai Spa Association, along with the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Thailand Exhibition and Convention Bureau, has organized the World Spa and Well-Being Convention as a way to create business opportunities and connect people in the industry across the region. 

With the ASEAN Economic Community around the corner, the event featured Thai and international spa innovations and educational options, as well as highlighting the importance of spa business for the continued growth of the tourism industry in the region. The event drew together spa and wellness industry professionals from around the globe to explore all opportunities for business growth and development within the spa & well-being industry.

Spa, health and wellness business is one of the fastest growing market segments of the Thai travel and tourism industry, generating millions of jobs and huge income for the country.

More than 10,000 people joined in the event, including travel agents, spa consumers, hotel operators, spa operators and the general public.

The World Spa & Well-being Convention 2014 has enhanced the image of Thailand in the world spa market. The event featured quality spa operators and business suppliers, while encouraging development of higher industry standards and promoted service and product innovation, through the latest products and technologies, to key decision makers from across the region.
