BANGKOK, Nov 28 — The organiser of the extravagant Thailand International Motor Expo 2014 event still hopes for the sale of at least 50,000 vehicles during this year’s event, despite the current sluggishness in the automotive market.
The 31st Thailand International Motor Expo 2014 kicked off its VIP and press preview day today, where event organising team president Kwanchai Papatpong expressed confidence that the expo would help stimulate the automotive market in the final quarter to become more active.
He said he is expecting all 41 automotive brands to launch their newest products and shower the event with campaigns to stimulate the auto market.
The organizer has targeted vehicle sales at 50,000 units during this event, with no less than 1.5 million visitors and Bt54 billion to change hands.
Thailand International Motor Expo 2014 is scheduled to be held from tomorrow through December 10 at Impact Challenger 1-3 Hall in Muang Thong Thani.
