Thai clothing shops were bustling with shoppers looking for traditional Thai apparel in preparation for Loy Krathong.
Shops selling the old-style dresses, shirts and skirts popular in the King Rama V era said people were happy to do a little celebrating after the year-long mourning period.
Lace shirts were going for about 200 baht, skirts for 199-390 baht and children’s clothes for 190 baht.
