TRANG, 25 May 2014 – The President of the Federation of Trang Industry is asking for collaboration from other industrial businesses to reduce their electric usage as the natural gas supply from the Malaysia-Thailand Joint Development Area (JDA) A18 block needs to be repaired.
Since the Chana Power Plant in Songkhla Province receives natural gas from the JDA, it has to stop operating, which will affect the power provided to the south of Thailand.
Currently, the Trang Industry Authority is searching for a solution to the power reduction.
