About 150 Pattaya-area children learned to make handicrafts from renowned artists in a workshop at Nongprue Kindergarten.
Deputy Mayor Anak Pattanangam opened the Aug. 28 class that featured lectures from Chaliew Chula, a 2019 agricultural award winner, Sorawit Kaireuk, a fine arts prize recipient last year, and Banleng Changlek, who won an award for handicrafts in 2018.
The students learned to make things such as wooden chairs and flower pots, as well as plant trees.
