BANGKOK – Police seize over 8,400 liters of alcohol from a house in Nonthaburi province and arrest the owner for alleged hoarding of a controlled product.
In the raid at the house on Monday, police found 42 containers of alcohol and 2,000 empty containers.
The owner of the house located just north of Bangkok, Nantapan Pisitdecho, claimed that an acquaintance asked her to keep the controlled substance.
However, police said it was an apparent hoarding of the sanitizing supplies in high demand amid the Covid-19 pandemic. (TNA)
