Hilton spreads happiness to celebrate 5 years in Pattaya

The Hilton Pattaya celebrated its fifth anniversary by bringing happiness to children in Chachoengsao by donating education supplies to Wat Nong Ket School.

The hotel delivered its bounty in a unique way, with General Manager Rudolf Troestler leading the hotel’s motorcycle club to the Phanom Sarakham district school.

Riders departed at 7am Nov 18 for the 130-kilometer ride, bringing along educational materials, sports equipment, snacks, toys and stuffed animals.

The hotel crew also brightened the students’ day with fun activities.

The Hilton Pattaya celebrated its fifth anniversary by bringing happiness to children in Chachoengsao by donating education supplies to Wat Nong Ket School.

“This project is our fifth corporate responsibility campaign to make a difference through community service,” Troestler said. “We are a team of volunteers working to inspire the children. The donations were contributed by hotel team members and guests. We really appreciate their kind support in this humanitarian project.”

In line with the hotel’s commitment to remain a pillar of Hilton Worldwide’s corporate responsibility strategy, “Travel with Purpose”, its “Blue Energy” team will continue to work closely with local organizations to take the lead in both implementing sustainable activities and enhancing corporate social responsibility, he said.

Evidence of that commitment became apparent only a few days after the drive to Chachoengsao when the hotel organized the “Hilton Race/Walk Rally” and “Full Moon Thank You Party”.

This Nov. 24 event was organized to express the management’s gratitude to guests, partners and the media for their support throughout 2015.

All the guests were asked to wear something neon to light up the scenery even when it was dark. A Thai buffet and lots of drinks were served.

The best costumes were chosen and the winners received prizes. A prize drawing was held where the winners could got rooms in Hilton hotels all over Asia.
