The Father Ray Foundation commemorated the ninth anniversary of its founder’s passing with a “Magical Land, Build the Disabled’s Dream” festival at the Redemptorist Vocational School.
The Aug. 18 fair featured booths selling food and products made by disabled students, as well as health and beauty services from sponsors. The YWCA Bangkok-Pattaya Center and Laser Engineer Co. offered tattoo removal; Advanced Life Laboratory offered health checks; Land of Smiles Clinic offered dental checkups and the Chonburi Red Cross took 25,800cc in blood donations.

“This event is to commemorate Fr. Raymond Brennan who, as we know, was a great benefactor to the lives of the disabled as he dedicated his life to them to make this a magical land for them,” said Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization President Wittaya Kunplome.
Fr. Brennan, Wittaya added, brought fame to the disabled participating in social activities and sports, with the Vocational School fielding numerous national and international athletes.
“In the name of the Chonburi PAO, I want to praise the Redemptorist Vocational School for building another side of society and making it a better place,” Wittaya concluded.

Booths were set up to sell products hand-made by the disabled people at the foundation.
It takes great concentration to fix electrical appliances.
People confined to a wheelchair can be important members of society with their abilities to fix things.
Many people at the event donate blood for charity.
